Tints you can taste!

As the air turns crisp and the days grow shorter, I couldn’t resist leaning into the warm, cozy vibes of fall with a creative project that celebrates beauty and indulgence.

This shoot was all about decadence—textures you can almost taste, tones that invite you in.

Inspired by the rich colors of the season—deep chocolate brown, caramel, latte, and honey yellow—I built a series of images that feel tactile, lush, and just a little bit luxurious.

This concept provided a wonderful opportunity to blend my expertise in food photography with my expanding work in the beauty space—a transition that felt incredibly natural.

Years of working with an array of textures, colors, and finicky details have sharpened my eye and taught me how to make a product feel tangible and irresistible. Those same skills translated seamlessly to capturing ILIA Beauty’s clean, skin-loving products.

The way a serum drizzles like caramel or glides like melted chocolate—those little moments of texture and movement are what bring a story to life. You could almost reach out and taste—er, touch—it.

Collaborating with food stylist Mariana Swedelson for the first time was an absolute pleasure, and it turned out to be a perfect match. Much like me, Mariana’s magic lies in the details: she arranges each element with care but never goes overboard—letting the food be itself while somehow making it look irresistible. She comes prepared with multiple solutions for any challenge, and we laughed together most of the day discovering just how much we have in common. By the end, the images looked delicious, and we had a blast doing it.

Together, we created a visual story that’s warm, modern, and irresistibly indulgent—a perfect nod to fall.

This project has me even more excited about stepping further into beauty photography while continuing to bring a food photographer’s sensibility to every image.

Let’s make your visuals sparkle harder than your highlighter.
